Bold Nails

My friend Susan is an exceptionally talented art student. Despite those expensive Sally Hansen Nail Strips that have been so popular among teens, she decided to make her own. Adding creativity without getting pricey. Here are two examples of her work, the one with the light green leopard print is what she has done on my nails. Unfortunately, the quality was ruined because I had smudged it while it was drying, the other one with the purple background and zebra prints are hers:

Hope you guys like the look, you can recreate your own unique look by simply following these simple steps, sponsored by Susan's old wisdom

Step 1. Paint a desired color as your base, like the green or the purple above, or another color you want. Paint at least two layers to create a clear background for the pattern to be set out on. Let dry

Step 2. Take a black gel pen, any kind, even the kind that you write with and create the pattern that you want, you can also create this look with other colored gel pens. Wait about 15 minutes

Step 3. Apply topcoat twice and wait till that dries.

Step 4. Admire and enjoy!

  1. Wow, those are AMAZING! I swear, if you didn't tell me those weren't nail stickers- I would've never questioned their nature in a billion years! So cute. Say good job to Susan for me.
